    Venue Hire Terms and Conditions

    • Due to our licence, all events MUST finish by midnight. At that time, the bar will close and any music must end. Guests will have a maximum of half an hour to vacate the club room and bar. Any drinks can be finished outside on the lawn, but no music will be allowed.
    • Where a band or disco is taking place, noise will be limited for licence and H&S reasons. NB. bands and discos should be located in a marquee outside on the lawn area.
    • The hirer will be responsible for the conduct and behaviour of all people attending their event.
    • The hirer shall take good care of, and shall not cause any damage to be done to the premises, fixtures, fittings and equipment on the premises. Any damage caused by the hirer, hirers guests, or contractors, shall be made good by RRC at the cost to the hirer and the hirer shall inform the staff of any such damage as soon as practical.
    • You have use of the club room and bar area, however, on some occasions the bar area could be open to members and campers, but you will very often have the place to yourself. Numbers of members and campers can vary, but if you have any concerns at all with this, please speak to a member of the team.
    • The bar will be staffed 30 minutes before and after the start and finish times, as agreed when booking.
    • Access times for setting up, and for clearing up, can be agreed when booking.
    • By law we must adhere to a challenge 25 Policy. As a result, if you have any guests who are over 18, planning to drink and fortunate enough to look under 25, then can you please remind them to bring their ID (driving licence or Passport). If asked and they can’t provide ID, they will not be allowed to consume alcohol. It is also illegal for our staff to allow an adult to purchase drinks for anyone we suspect of being under the age of 18. Staff must abide by the terms of our licence, as a result RRC reserves the right to refuse entry or service.
    • Please be aware that we have campers most weekends that will need access to the car park and river.
    • You are responsible for clearing away all food, decorations and personal belongings at the end of the party.
    • The club staff will clear away glasses.
    • Folding tables can be provided for buffets.
    • Being next to the beautiful River Wye, we have a respect our water edict, where we operate without any single use plastic items, this includes cutlery, plates, glasses, and most importantly, any type of plastic/metal confetti for use on tables or contained in balloons.
    • Fire exits must not be blocked.
    • Candles are not allowed (unless on a cake), however, small tea lights in holders may be used.
    • No nails, pins, drawing pins or fixing of any kind can be driven or put into any wall, floor, partition, pillar, ceiling, fitting or furniture. Sellotape is not to be used on paint work, but less invasive products can be used such as Blu-tac.
