New Learn to Row

Welcome to new and returning rowers in our first Learn To Row course of the year.
Huge thanks to Lucy Preece for taking on the role of L2R coordinator.

Some people are new to rowing, some are used to the rowing machine in the gym but not rowing in boats, some are returning to rowing after a few years (many years !!)

Great progress made from theory in the bar, to ergos, dry rowing on the lawn, and finally into boats.

We are delighted to welcome you all.

We hope that you enjoyed your time on the ergoes and on the river, and will also enjoy everything else around that – getting to know new people and our stretch of river.

River High Again

Juniors

Three days of junior Easter camp had to be cancelled this week due to weather conditions and a high river.

Replacement sessions have been organised for Saturday 6th, Sunday 7th and Sunday 14th of May.

Help with rowing, coaching or diving a safety boat would be much appreciated.

Seniors

Despite the river being high the seniors were able to get some training done in the sun.

Although indoors things looked a little more relaxed

Beerfest

The beer festival takes place over the bank holiday weekend at the end of April . A Lions and Rotary shared event which has become a major annual event for Ross. We are delighted to host this and welcome people to our great environment.

This is the same weekend as Evesham Regatta when some of you will be competing on the Saturday.

Marquees need to go up the weekend before (Saturday 22 April) and after the event 2 marquees need to be relocated to the Club lawn for the Coronation Ball (1 May).
