Mixed Ability Success

Welcome Danielle, Adrian and David, all new to rowing. Delighted to have you here in our new Mixed Ability session on Sunday at 10am

Welcome back Rowena – mixing in, helping and being really generous and encouraging to our new rowers. Lovely to see you again.

Congratulations to Dan Bailey for his work organising sessions, recruiting and coordinating rowers and volunteers. Huge thanks too to coach supremo Jackie Baynham who handled a range of abilities on the day with ease. Everyone left with a smile on their faces and knowing the difference between feather and square!

New stabilisers funded by British Rowing were invaluable maintaining a balanced boat and meaning the new rowers, despite the odd dodgy stroke could carry on without a wobble.

There is a large and dedicated team behind the scenes (and on a WhatsApp group!). We would never have got here without them. Thank you all.

Next week… session 2 and a pool drill in Monmouth. Bring and share a picnic lunch in between.

Henley Club Bus Last Call…

“What goes on at Henley stays at Henley”

The RRC “Beer bus” costs £30 which is sweet nothing compared to Petrol and Parking at Henley.

Plus the opportunity to take your picnic for the riverbank, saving yourself another fortune on Henley bars and catering. All while partying with your favourite fellow Ross Rowers and watching the top rowers in the world compete.

Spot some familiar faces from years gone by …
